You don't have to refuel our cars, but if you choose to, the cost is on us, and we'll even give you credit for it!

Germany & Austria (Digital Fueling)
1. Use the app to find a partner petrol station - Digital fueling is available at Shell stations.
3. Select the Refuel option in the app.
4. Before picking up the nozzle, enter your pump number in the app.
5. Fill up the tank – the cost of your fuel is on us!
6. Once you're done fuelling, replace the nozzle.
7. We'll take care of the payment automatically and, where applicable, apply Free2move credit to your account.

Italy (Digital Fueling)
1. Tap a station on the map or select "Refuel" in the app.
2. Tap "Start Fueling," review the instructions, and tick the confirmation box.
3. Tap "GET YOUR CODE" and scan it at the terminal or present it to the cashier. If your code expires, simply tap "Get new code."
4. Fuel the car
5. All done!


United States
Our Washington fleet does not currently support digital refueling or physical fuel cards. Please refuel the vehicle as needed and pay upfront. Simply keep your receipt and submit a refund request directly through the app —we’ll take care of the rest!


Tip: You can earn credit by fully refueling a vehicle with a low fuel level. Just check the requirements in the app!

Important: If you fuel your car at a non-partner fuel station or outside of the country, you have to pay for it yourself and send the original receipt to us.

Note: Some of our vehicles are still equipped with a physical fuel card. If you find one in your car, you can continue to refuel at any of our partner stations as indicated on the card itself.
