You will see a reminder of this check in the app when selecting your rate. Before your Trip: Amount: The hold is an estimate and may be slightly higher than your booking rate to account for potential extra time or distance.Prepaid Cards: Ensure your balance is high enough to cover the hold before starting.Failed Holds: If the authorization is declined, the trip will not start. Please contact your bank if this occurs. After your Trip:Once your rental ends, we calculate the final cost and immediately release any excess funds. Final Amount: If you spent less than the hold, the difference is released. If you spent more, the hold is captured and the remaining balance is charged separately.Pending Status: Although we release the funds immediately, banks can take several business days (and occasionally until the next billing cycle) to update your statement. If a hold persists for more than 10 days, please contact your bank.
